Routine Service
- Thoroughly clean bike
- Perform routine safety check
- Strip wheel hubs and lubricate bearings if required
- Replace inner brake and gear cables and outers if required
- Remove and lubricate brake callipers/v-brake arms for disc brakes check pad alignment and bleed if required
- Adjust gears and check derailleurs for wear
- Clean and lubricate chain. It is sometimes necessary to replace the chain and this often means replacing the rear cassette at the same time.
- Grease headset bearings if required
- Check and true wheels
- Check tyres and their pressure
- Road test
